Following the death of Josie Packard, Sheriff Truman withdraws into a deep depression. Having left her convent, Annie Blackburn arrives in Twin Peaks, and catches Agent Cooper’s eye. Audrey Horne falls in love with John Justice Wheeler. Cooper forces a stalemate in his chess game with Windom Earle. Catherine Martell receives a puzzle-box from Thomas Eckhardt’s assistant, Jones. Donna Hayward receives a family visit from a disguised Windom Earle. The Log Lady and Major Briggs show Agent Cooper their matching tattoos. Norma Jennings convinces Shelly Johnson to enter the ‘Miss Twin Peaks’ beauty contest. Ben Horne holds a fashion show to help his ‘Save the Pine Weasel’ campaign, but things get out of hand. Truman’s bed receives an unexpected visitor.
